This concert is currently paying ON PBS all over the USA and is a unbelievable event. It was recorded in Bocelli’s Home town in Tuscany and is in a glowing outdoor setting. The songs are all the songs from his fresh Hits collection plus more. Andrea Bocelli, is the world’s most approved tenor (and Best selling) and pop sensation as well, This position is all pop (crossover), Though some of it has a classical feel to it.

The Songs include a nice selection of some of Bocelli’s best work Bocelli has a very resplendent train, that expresses mighty emotion. His tone and diction are good and his Volume is grand better then the critics claim, he drawl is always animated, his singing touches one’s heart and goes legal into ones soul. The tracks include Songo;; Canto Della Sera duet with Sarah Brightman; a Medley, (Besame mucho \ Somos novios – It’s impossible \ Can’t Encourage Falling In Cherish) ; Time to Say Goodbye-Con Te Partino; (with Sarah Brightman), Vivo Per Lei- duet with Heather Headley; Melodrama; The Prayer- duet with Heather Headley; and Because We Believe; a recent English/Italian version of Vivere called Dear To Live with Laura Pausani a common Italian singer; A fantastic song called La Voce Del Silenzio duet with Elisa; a ravishing song called A TE featuring Kenny G on saxophone; A very chilly classical sounding song with Lang Lang, on Piano, called IO CI SARO; and another fresh song, very contemporary, called BELLISSIME STELLE which may be my accepted song of the modern songs. Also doen with Chris Botti is Italia a recent song written by David Foster and on Botti’s unique album with Andrea questing on vocals, and it is a fair song.

This is a large DVD (and or spot) for any Bocelli fan, for the fan because it is resplendent and has the 6 unique songs (5 novel and one alternative version, Plus different partners on the Duets) . And is a expansive station for fresh fans because it has many of his hits. This would be a kindly first DVD for someone original to Bocelli.
I’ve watched this PBS special countless times and I have already pre-ordered the DVD.
This is the best live Bocelli performance I have seen. I won’t duplicate the other reviewers breakdown of songs and musical stars, but the mid display duet with Sarah Brightman on “Canto de la Terra” blew away their closing duet of “time to say goodbye”. This recent duet, (song originally released on Sueno) has raised the bar for Bocelli/Brightman collaboration. There is a chemistry there that has to be watched to relish.
Heather Headley turned in two remarkable vocal performances that are a second popular highlight of the concert. Headley’s vocals seem to blend extremely well with Bocelli. R&B meets Classical and the result was a stirring duet that will be hard to duplicate with anyone else.
Laura Pausini’s performance was also a warm moment in the exhibit. As Bocelli went to his knee to verbalize to her, she lost her breath in the moment of being sung to by the mountainous Bocelli.
Turn down the lights, light a few candles, set aside in this DVD and score lost in the romance of Bocelli’s vocals and the surreal atmosphere of Tuscany in the summer.
